Recording Work on Jobs
Document work as you perform service jobs. RefriTrak tracks units serviced, refrigerant transfers, leaks found, and cylinders used.
Adding Units to Jobs
Why Add Units
Link equipment to jobs to:
- Track which units were serviced
- See service history for each unit
- Record refrigerant transfers
- Document repairs
Adding Units
During Job Creation:
- Step 2 of job creation
- Select units from customer's equipment
After Job Is Created:
- Open the job detail page
- Scroll to Units section
- Click Add Unit
- Select unit
- Unit appears in job
Recording Refrigerant Transfers
Why Record Transfers
Track refrigerant:
- Added to units (charging)
- Recovered from units
- Between cylinders
- For EPA compliance
From Job Page
- Open the job
- Go to Circuits section
- Click on the Circuit Menu (three dots)
- Click on Transfer Refrigerant
- Follow the guided menu
- Save transfer
Transfer Types
Charging Units:
- Cylinder to Circuit (CYL_TO_CIRCUIT)
- Select source cylinder
- Select destination unit/circuit
- Enter amount added
Recovering Refrigerant:
- Circuit to Cylinder (CIRCUIT_TO_CYL)
- Select source unit/circuit
- Select destination cylinder
- Enter amount recovered
Automatic Calculations
System automatically updates:
- Cylinder quantities
- Circuit refrigerant levels
- Refrigerant totals
- Compliance tracking
Documenting Leaks
Recording Leaks Found
If you discover a leak:
- Open the job
- Go to Circuits section
- Click on the Circuit Menu (three dots)
- Click Report Leak
- Enter leak details
- Save leak report

Document:
- Work performed
- Parts replaced
- Customer requests
- Issues found
- Follow-up needed
- Images and documents

- Scroll to Activity Log section
- Click Log Activity
- Type your activity description
- (Optional) upload images or files
- Click Log Activity
Tracking Cylinders on Jobs
Assigning Cylinders
Link cylinders to jobs:
- From job page, click Leave Cylinders on Site
- Select cylinder used
- Cylinder appears in job
Why Track Cylinders
Know which cylinders:
- Were used on which jobs
- Are at customer sites
- Need to be picked up
- Have refrigerant from specific jobs
Completing a Job
Before Marking Complete
Make sure you've:
- Added all units serviced
- Recorded all refrigerant transfers
- Documented any leaks
- Added notes about work done
- Moved cylinders if left on-site
Mark Job as Complete
- Open the job
- Change status to COMPLETED
- Review all information
- Confirm completion

Q: Do I have to record every refrigerant transfer?
A: Yes, for EPA compliance and accurate tracking, record all refrigerant movement.
Q: Can I add units to a job after it's completed?
A: Yes, you can edit completed jobs to add missing information.
Q: What if I forgot to record a transfer?
A: You can add transfers after the fact. Go to the job or unit and record the transfer with the correct date.
Q: Can multiple jobs work on the same unit?
A: Yes, units can be added to multiple jobs. This creates a service history for each unit.

- Complete Job: Update status to COMPLETED
