Inter-Organization Cylinder Transfers

What It Is

Transfer cylinder ownership from one organization to another. The cylinder moves completely from your inventory to the destination organization's inventory.

Requirements

Subscription: PRO or ENTERPRISE

Roles Who Can Transfer:

• Parent Org Admin
• App Admin
• Org Admin
• Manager

How to Transfer

1. Go to Cylinders
2. Find the cylinder
3. Click menu (three dots) → Inter-Org Transfer
4. Select destination organization
5. Choose Move Cylinder (creates movement record) or Update Ownership Only
6. Confirm transfer

What Gets Transferred

Moves with the cylinder:

• All cylinder details (serial, capacity, tare weight, etc.)
• Current refrigerant type and quantity
• Status
• DOT inspection dates
• Complete history and notes

Does not transfer:

• QR code access settings (resets to destination org defaults)
